Tus Cobijas (Your Blankets)


Interacting with my mother’s hand-embroidered blankets; appreciating the care and joy that went into making them. They carry her scent and her love of craft. They possess messages of wisdom and unspoken truths. Multiple states and aphasia separate us but I feel connected to her heart in the gifts she left me.
